Mr. Mendelsohn has been the prior chief Media Entertainment advisor for Bank Of Tokyo/Union Bank of California [ 5years] and BNP Paribas [10 years] and arranged production financing for/or produced over $1.9 billion in production financing and $5.4 billion in box office revenue over 318 independent and major studio films.
Mr. Mendelsohn has also arranged financing for such films as Beacon Pictures and Wolfgang Peterson’s AIR FORCE ONE, Lakeshore Entertainment produced THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES , the Wachowski Brothers’ THE MATRIX , Icon Pictures produced WHAT WOMEN WANT and Quentin Tarantino’ s RESERVOIR DOGS. He also Executive Produced LORD OF WAR , written and directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Nicolas Cage and Ethan Hawke.
Mendelsohn’s Patriot Pictures recently developed, financed, and produced VENGEANCE: A LOVE STORY starring Nicolas Cage and featuring Don Johnson; CHOCOLATE CITY starring Robert Ri’chard, Tyson Beckford, Vivica A. Fox, and Michael Jai White; I AM WRATH starring John Travolta and directed by Chuck Russell (“The Mask”); USS INDIANAPOLIS starring Nicolas Cage; ZEROVILLE starring James Franco, Seth Rogan, Will Ferrell, and Megan Fox; and WILD HORSES starring Robert Duvall, James Franco, Josh Hartnett, and directed by Robert Duvall.
