Patriot Pictures is an award winning independent production studio that produces, finances and distributes films with an aim to entertain and inspire social awareness. We strive to spotlight the struggles between good and evil that have taken place throughout history, and to encourage audiences to take part in positive social change.
Since our founding in 2005 by Michael Mendelsohn, we have gained recognition for the quality of our productions. We strongly believe in the power of storytelling and its ability to move and inspire people. Our Story
Michael Mendelsohn (CEO) packages film production elements including recently released Nick Cassavetes written and directed G-D IS A BULLET based on a book by Boston Teran, starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maika Monroe, Karl Glusman, January Jones, and Jamie Foxx; BLACKOUT directed by Sam Macaroni, starring Josh Duhamel, Abbie Cornish, Omar Chaparro, and Nick Nolte; GET LOST written and directed by Daniela Amavia, starring Ella Bleu Travolta, Edouard Philipponnat, Sasha Luss, James Cromwell, and Terrence Howard; and GHOST SHIPS directed by Markus Blunder. Recent releases include: Sion Sono directed PRISONERS of the GHOSTLAND (Sundance 2021; released September 17, 2021) starring Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, and Bill Mosely; and completed films such as CUT THROAT CITY directed by RZA and starring Ethan Hawke, Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes, T.I. and Eiza Gonzalez (SXSW 2020; released August 21, 2020); ZEROVILLE starring James Franco, Seth Rogan, Megan Fox, and Danny McBride; RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL starring Nicolas Cage, and Laurence Fishburne; SYNCHRONIC starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan (release date October 23, 2020); HANGMAN starring Al Pacino, Karl Urban, and Brittany Snow currently on NETFLIX; and I AM WRATH starring John Travolta.
